  • Getting Started
An increase in demand for Inspire services has led to a new group known as “Getting Started” taking place on a Monday. Getting Started is about building confidence, trying out new activities and getting active.  Currently members of “Getting Started” take part in sessions on cooking and food preparation and healthy eating, visit the gym and take part in various sporting activities to keep fit.

  • Inspire Work Preparation

This group has only just started!  It aims to develop skills that members could use in voluntary work and /or employment. Having meaningful activity leads to individuals feeling more valued and fulfilled. Inspire aims to ensure that people with learning disabilities are not denied these experiences.

  • Inspired Fun

Inspire has started running a social group in the evenings on a Wednesday and is in the process of being expanded to two evenings a week due to its popularity. Here the focus is on socialising and making friendsand members decide what they want to do. Currently activities include visiting the pub, playing pool and darts, bowling and eating out.
