Inspire Nottingham - Basic Skills

Basic Skills form a very important part of living independently, so as well as embedding basic skills into our activities we also deliver high quality individual tuition for our members to assist them with reading and writing, telling the time and so on. 

As a result many members have achieved OCN accreditation.  The introduction of 5 lap top computers has been successful with some members accessing a computer for the first time and some extending their skills.

• ‘I got three certificates last year’
• ‘My writing has got better and so has my spelling’
• ‘Now I can tell the time I’m not too early or too late anymore’
